In response to the extensive supply chain challenges posed by COVID-19, MCL conducted a review within the business and recognised the opportunity to diversify our product offerings. By investing in our state-of-the-art new powder coating plant, we have added to our proven conveyor system design and install capabilities.

Our powder coating line features 28 fully automated carriages (each carriage measuring 3.6m long x 1.6m high x 0.5m wide) that move through a complete cycle every hour. This includes jigging, pretreatment, drying, powder coating, curing, and rejigging. This automation ensures high productivity and consistent quality, meeting the demands of diverse industries.

WHAT IS A POWDER COATING?

Powder coating is a finishing process that involves applying a dry powder to a surface, which is then cured under heat to form a hard, durable finish. It is widely used for its resistance to wear, corrosion, and weathering.
